Jeramy Bede has taken over the dj duties for the First Sunday Milonga at Salon Pavadita.  Stephen Brown djs for the Second Sunday Milonga and Last Sunday Milonga.

Terri West has secured the Chadra Mezza & Grill in Fort Worth as a venue for future milongas.  The initial run of the Chadra Milonga is Saturday, May 17, 8:30-11:00 p.m.

Lydia Essary's interview of Carlos Libedinksky, the founder and leader of Narcotango, is featured in the most recently published issue of Tango Noticias, a tango newletter from Chicago.

Jairelbhi and George will host a TangoThon, featuring free introductory classes, at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas on Saturday, May 24, 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Jairelbhi & George, Karen & Larry Hallman, and Reese Fuentez & Gail Horne are the scheduled teachers.  Advanced registration is recommended.  Another TangoThon is planned for Saturday, September 13.  For more information, see Evolution Tango or contact , 469.939.4120. As a result of the Memorial Day Weekend Holiday, the Last Sunday Milonga at Salon Pavadita is cancelled for May.

Laurie Vega will host a workshop with Martha "Marta" Anton and Manuel "Manolo" Salvador, May 27-June 2, 2008.  Scheduled as part of the workshop are the Manolo & Marta Milonga/Performance on Saturday, May 31 at Lori Hayner's Studio and the Camicando Milonga at the Plaza Arts Center on Sunday, June 1.  Private lessons are available most days that Manolo & Marta are in Dallas.  For more information, see Nocturna Tango or contact , 214.415.5876.
